As with many esoteric approaches to learning about oneself, Human Design provides valuable, powerful, and sometimes life changing insight into our purpose and place on earth. Know yourself at a deeper level
Even when we feel we truly know ourselves, we can still judge or mistrust our knowledge. Understanding your Human Design can help you become more compassionate towards others and considerate of how you move through the world. You become more conscious of your blind spots, understand where you can easily go off track, and more importantly, recognize when it is happening and get back sooner with fewer emotional casualties. This allows for healthier relationships all around.
A visual owner's manual
The Human Design synthesis is graphically depicted in a body graph showing nine centers interconnected by channels. The centers show areas of life common to all humans: the mind, body sense, emotional responses, identity, sexuality/life-force, inspiration, ego, security, and communication. Depending on the conditions in the solar system (planetary placements), these areas of life can be stable, consistent, and grounded (defined), or conversely show areas where we can get lost, and are vulnerable (or undefined).
Knowing whether you are defined or undefined emotionally can change how you experience yourself in the world and in your relationships. Learning to recognize how you impact others and take responsibility for that goes a long way in creating healthy relationships.
